Knight and Day. Director James Mangold (3:10 Yuma, Walk this line , Girl Interrupted and more) brings us a action comedy with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz as main actors. Recipe for success? Most likely. Cruise plays here the role of a major secret agent who falls for a simple ordinary girl while in the middle of a complez affair where his own bureau believes he has crossed over to the dark side; when in fact he is being set up by one of his more evil colleagues. The couple finds themselves in the middle of grotesque action scenes which definitely keep you entertained. The movie is funny and entertaining certainly but the action is so over the top that one finds suspending disbelief becomes very hard and some scenes become plain silly. Well still a couple of great actors in a hot comedy; enough to keep you entertained during a cold winter evening.

Knight and Day. Une comédie d'action du directeur James Mangold (3:10 Yuma, Walk this line , Girl Interrupted et plus). Ce film met en vedette Tom Cruise et Cameron Diaz un succès assure. Tom incarne ici un agent secret au milieu d'une mission dangereuse où son entourage le pense compromis et où il est en fait pris dans une mise en scène montée par un de ses collègues mal veillant. Au milieu du périple, celui-ci tombe pour une jolie femme qu'il rencontre par hasard et tout le film déboule de là. Certainement drôle et captivant ce film contient beaucoup de scènes d'actions
qui vous tiendront en haleine; mais a un moment donne celle-ci deviennent tellement pousse que cela en est comique. Sans doute est-ce le but; mais le résultat est plutôt amer. Donc drôle et intéressant, mais pas un grand film.
