Elvira, mistress of the dark. Finally another VHS i can get rid of. Got the DVD version of this old 80's classic. For those too young or not familiar with the character Elvira (played by actress Cassandra Peterson a red head...) let us describe her as one of the early goth figure with a love of B movies, lots of cleavage, big assets as well as an acid tongue to criticize very freely. She is characterized by her role as the host of late night cheap flick TV shows.

This movie by director James Signorelli (from Saaturday Night Live movies fame), relates a full blown comedy about the impact this radical Goth lady has on a small Massachuset town's folk. many good actors participate to this movie such as William Morgan Sheppard, Jeff Conaway from Babylon 5 fame and Edie McClurg from Ferris Bueler (yes the secretary of the school director). Lots of laugh and witty one liners characterize this script. A good time for all.

Elvira en DVD me donne la chance de me débarrasser d'un autre VHS des années 80. Elvira c'est une des dames gothiques originale et très drôle grace à ses lignes virulentes. L'histoire la place comme nouvellement arrivée dans un petit village américain ou elle a un impact majeur sur les habitants paisibles et conservateurs et sur les personnes qui veillent à ce que le plaisir soit sacrifie a la morale.
Beaucoup de rires et de plaisirs même après toutes ces années.
