A nightmare on Elm street 5: the dream child. This is the 5th movie in the franchise of 6 total. This film is not the worst of the series. Robert Englund playing Freddy is kiskcing ass in this movie as was at that stage truly into the role. The production quality for the movie was quite high for the time (still in the eighties) and the producers did not hesitate to play with interesting more complex scenes and soecial effects for the movie. The story brings back Freddy through a series of day time dreams which the main character is forced into. Through that she discovers the roots of Freddy's conception which is that his mother was a nun who was raped in an insane asylum. Alice, the main character is played by actress Lisa Wilcox, also is also pregrant at that point eventually figures out that Freddy is reaching back into our world through her child to be born. I will not spoil the end. If you are a fan of this franchise this will be a must and not one of the worst Freddy's out there.

A nightmare on Elm street 5: the dream child. Cette fois-ci Freddy tente de revenir dans notre monde à travers le foetus de l'héroïne du film. L'histoire est un peu complexe, mais nous fait partager les origines de Freddy dont la mere qui était une soeur a été violée dans un asile par une meute de patients. Ce film nous montre un Robert Englund à son meilleur et a une valeur de production et budget très adéquat. Les différentes scènes montrées sont originales et inventives; ce qui est le succès de cette franchise. À voir pour les amateurs de Nightmare on Elm street.
