Night of the demons. This is the second movie from Adam Gierasch a young director dedicated to horror flicks and whose first movie was Autopsy. night of the demons is a remake from the successfull but not widely known 1988 movie of the same name; which had two sequels.
The story is the same: a group of adolescent decide to make a Halloween party in a house with a dark history of strange murders. Nice classic recipe. Off course the ancient demons posses the kids one by one until the tragic end. Lots of tension, special effects and scens with lots of sexual tension. This movie is now a classic staple for horror enthusiasts. If you are a fan of the genre you have to see this movie. For others, it is good entertainement but gory and without much actor prowess & contents. The score however was really good; it god me digging for my old Concrete Blonde album which had been dormant for at least 10 years. Thanks Night of the demons I had fun.
Night of the demons est un film qui est un remake de l'original de 1988. Ce film de Adam Gierasch, qui a aussi fait Autopsy, est devenu rapidement un film reconnu parmi les fans du genre horreur. L'histoire nous fait voir une fête organisée le soir de l'Halloween, dans une maison abandonnée avec une histoire mystérieuse et démoniaque. La police a tôt fait arrêter la fête, mais plusieurs jeunes passent quand même la nuit dans la maison. Ils feront tour à tour partie d'un groupe de démons qui possèdent leurs corps en cette nuit fatidique.
Si vous vous considérez comme un fan du genre, vous devrez voir ce film. Sinon il est quand même plutôt divertissant, excitant et aussi très saignant. Pas pour les âmes sensibles, mais beaucoup de plaisir.
